Petitioners Demand Answers on Omisore’s Record
The petition, addressed to the APC Igbimo Agba (Elders’ Council) in Osun, is signed by six prominent party figures: Alex Eluwole (Ife Central); Victor Ade Siyanbola (Modakeke); Cornelius Ogundiran (Obokun); Chief George Adelaja (Oriade); Hon. What Exactly Are They Alleging?
1. Mysterious Resignation
The petitioners highlight Omisore’s sudden resignation as APC National Secretary shortly after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu took office. They claim rumours are swirling that he stepped down under duress — accused of receiving a US$5 million bribe from a 2022 presidential aspirant to undermine Tinubu’s interests.
